FAQ

Is it possible to access my wallet from multiple devices?

Yes, you can access your wallet from multiple devices. During the setup process, remember to securely save your recovery phrase, as it acts as a backup to restore your wallet on other devices. By entering the recovery phrase on a new device, you can gain access to your wallet and manage your cryptocurrencies from various platforms without any issues.

What happens if I lose my device or forget my wallet password?

If you lose your device or forget your wallet password, you can recover your wallet using the recovery phrase you saved during the initial setup. With the recovery phrase, you can restore your wallet on another device and regain access to your funds. Therefore, it is crucial to keep your recovery phrase in a safe and secure location, preferably offline, to avoid any potential loss of funds.

Can I change my wallet's private key or recovery phrase?

No, you cannot change the private key or recovery phrase of an existing wallet. These keys are generated during the wallet creation process and cannot be altered afterward. If you ever suspect that your private key or recovery phrase has been compromised, it’s essential to move your funds to a new wallet by creating a new one and transferring the assets.

Can I cancel a transaction if I change my mind or sent cryptocurrency by mistake?

It is not possible to cancel a cryptocurrency transaction once it has been broadcasted to the blockchain. Once the transaction is confirmed and added to the blockchain, it becomes irreversible. Therefore, it is crucial to double-check all transaction details, including the recipient’s address and the amount, before confirming the transaction in your wallet. In case of a mistaken or incorrect transaction, it’s essential to contact the recipient and seek their cooperation to return the funds. Always exercise caution and verify the transaction details before proceeding to avoid potential loss of funds.

Is it possible to delete my account and data from the wallet app?

Non-custodial wallets do not typically require users to create accounts or store personal data. Instead, they generate and manage cryptocurrency wallets locally on your device, and the ownership is determined by the private keys and recovery phrase. Therefore, there is no account to delete in the traditional sense. If you want to remove all traces of the non-custodial wallet from your device, you can simply uninstall the app. However, before doing so, ensure you have securely backed up your recovery phrase and private keys. These are essential for recovering your wallet and funds should you decide to use the app again or switch to a different wallet in the future.
